The Northampton Type 2 Group has a small number of original Sulzer spare parts for sale. The group wish to state that we are looking for sensible offers on the items listed below as the funds raised from the sale of the parts will go towards purchasing a set of replacement starting batteries for Class 27 D5401

Sulzer Class 33 Turbocharger Air Impellor
We have a Sulzer Class 33 Turbocharger Air Impellor avaliable. This is a brand new never used item, the Air impellor is stamped with date of production and the batch number. The dimensions of the impellor show that this part is suitable for ex-BR Class 33 turbochargers. This air impellor is an extremely complex bit of kit and would cost a small fortune to have made at today’s prices.

Sulzer Waterpump Housings & Combined Pump End Plate Castings
These are also brand new never used items. We have a Sulzer water pump housing & combined pump set end plate casting. The dimensions of the pump end plate casting show that this is the BRCW type as fitted to a Class 27 or 33 combined pump set (triple pump). The water pump housing alone can be used on a Classes 24, 25, 26, 27 & 33 locomotives. The two items can be sold separately or together. They are in excellent condition.

A pair of Sulzer 12LDA Engine Oil Filter Mesh
This is once again a brand new never used item. We have a pair of Sulzer oil filter mesh for a 12LDA power unit. The dimensions of the filter set show that they can be used on a Class 44,45,46,47.
